This is my first article, and I'm excited to share it with you. It's an introduction to my writing journey and what you can expect moving forward.

As is tradition in the programming world, the first program we write is often a simple "Hello, World!"1 to kick things off. So what better title to use than this one to start my own writing adventure?

Motivation​

I've been thinking about writing for a long time, but I never got around to it for one reason or another. So let's not waste any more time because the longer we wait, the harder it gets. As the Chinese proverb says:

"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now."

So here I am, finally beginning my writing journey.

Some Background​

I'm planning to write about all sorts of topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)2, especially drawing from my background in Software Engineering, Networking and System Administration, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud Computing, Information Security, and Project and Product Management.

Lately, I've been exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI), Gamification, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and I'm curious about how they can blend with Information Security, Privacy, and Software Engineering in both academic and practical ways.

Writing Style​

You can expect a mix of technical and non-technical articles, blog-style posts, how-to guides, personal notes (which I think might help others too), opinions, tips, tricks, and tutorials. You can find my writings in following two places on this site:

Thoughts, stories, opinions, and ideas on a variety of topics.

Notes

Technical articles, how-to guides, tips, tricks, and tutorials.

I'll try to mention the intended audience for each piece so it's clear who might find it useful. Other than that, I'll keep my style simple and to the point, just the way I like to read myself.
